[Closed] Open position: CNRS research engineer (optical spectroscopy of nanostructures)

posted in: News | 0

The CNRS has just opened a permanent research engineer position at C2N in engineering sciences and scientific instrumentation. The research engineer will be responsible for the optical spectroscopy platform for characterization of materials at the nanometric and picosecond scales. Applications can be submitted until June 30.

Interested candidates are invited to contact Stéphane Collin (stephane.collin@c2n.upsaclay.fr).

The platform is based on a time-resolved cathodoluminescence equipment whose versatility and performances are unique in France (5 tools in the world). The engineer will ensure its operation and its development, and it will contribute to answer the very strong internal and external requests, at the national and international level. The profile sought is a PhD with extensive knowledge in optical spectroscopy and semiconductor physics.
