A PhD position is open to develop the remote epitaxy of III-V materials for photovoltaics. Solar cells made of III-V materials hold efficiency records, but at a non-competitive cost. The remote epitaxy is a route to drastically reduce this cost by recycling the substrates.
Remote epitaxy of III-V materials: towards low-cost high-efficiency solar cells
The project will start in September 2020, and will take place at IPVF and C2N.
The application must include a cover letter and a CV.
